I am a U.S. citizen who is interested in purchasing a condo for
rental/investment on St. Maarten, BWI.

The condo is roughly 220k and I can put a downpayment up to 100k but I
want to keep my liquidity low. I discovered that US lenders do not
offer any mortgages for overseas purchases.

I would like to find international lenders that can provide a 30 year mortgage.

Can I also tax deduct the loans as if this was a US property?

Thanks,

Den
