Thanks so much for the prompt detailed answer. Did you get a chance to
confirm if they were manufacturers as opposed to sellers/buyers. Also
i was checking some other websites myself and was hoping to confirm
which of these are manufacturers of Q10 using synthetic route(i.e. use
solenasol in their process) as opposed to being organic Q10
manufacturers(i.e. use bacteria,fungus or mushroom based process)

Thanks much in advance. This information is certainly helpful and
helps me get started

Hi Srini,

The Health Canada Drug Database used in my answer, gives you the
company (manufacturer) which applied for and holds the license for a
particular DIN (drug). Following are some definitions of the DIN
number which may help.

DIN applications ("Not New Drugs"):

"As per section C.08.001 of the Food and Drug Regulations, a New Drug
is a substance for which information is required to be submitted by
the manufacturer to establish the quality, safety and effectiveness of
the drug product. A drug product which does not fall under this
definition is considered a 'Not New Drug'."

In regards to the synthetic version (Idebenone) of Q-10
(Ubidecarenone), I've been unable to find any manufacturers in Canada.
Further, when I search for "Idebenone" at the Health Canada Drug
Database, there are no returns.

Thanks much for the great answers. I have another questions

Can you please research the
formulators(Users,address/location,approximate capacity of Q10
consumption) of Coenzyme Q10 and also please specify which ones are
using Coenzyme Q10 in a synthetic form(is possible) which is of the
most interest to me. My initial guess is Coenzyme Q10 is primarily
being used in North America and Europe by the user population. I am
not sure if the formulators of Coenzyme Q10 are also based in the same
areas.
