I am looking for a dichroic type UV blocking optical filter. It must meet the following criteria: transmission from 360nm to 370nm must be less than 1% transmission at 400nm must be greater than 40% transmission from 410nm to 500nm must be greater than 85% it must be available for immediate purchase and delivery to California within 2 weeks of purchase the minimum order must be less than $100 it must cost less than $65 (not including tax or shipping) for a single filter not smaller than 23mm in length or width it must be less than 7mm thick (thickness is the dimension along the axis light is intended to pass through) a transmission curve for the filter must be availble which shows its transmission characteristics at the above wavelengths colored glass like Schott GG400 is not acceptable because it will fluoresce when exposed to 365nm radiation dielectric or interference filters will not work because they are angle sensitive it really needs to be dichroic this question basically has two parts, one is finding the filter, the other is finding someone who sells it and has it in stock and ready to deliver hints: www.edmundoptics.com NOTE** PLEASE POST ALL QUESTIONS IN THE FORUM, my email listed with google does not work! |
