Years ago I saw a poster print in a pizza place in Columbus Ohio that
I would love to have a copy of.

It was in kind of a stark, plain but bold style. I believe it was
called "the traveling salesman" and the artist's name was something
like "pignalli" or at least had the word pig in it.

It was a drawing of a man in a pin-striped suit in a cheesy hotel room
with a bottle of liquor on the table in front of him.

Good luck, I've been looking for years.

Hey Ryan
I think it was a Donatos next to a Pier 1 Imports on
Dublin-Grandville. I would appreciate any follow up you could do, but
I think that you have enough to qualify for an answer. Post as such so
you can get paid.

Thanks

Drew

Hello!

The artist of that painting is Giancarlo Impiglia, and the title is
indeed "Traveling Salesman".

Here is some additional info concerning the artist:

http://www.giancarloimpigliaworld.com - official site

About the poster, I'm not sure if any have been made, as all I can
find are serigraphs, etc. With the artist name and title of the
piece, it should help your search a great deal however. Also, I
believe I have seen that painting before, as I'm from Columbus, Oh.
What pizza shop was it located at?

Also, here is a link to the only one I could find for sale, a
serigraph priced at $1200, edition of 300.
