the question i need answering is: 'why is screen violence a source of entertainment, fascination and pleasure' discuss with reference to Tarantino's films. The question needs to be answered from a sociological point of view. The sources used should all be referenced (literature is best). I have already found that, in general terms, what we percieve to be violent is not universal and subject to mediation. I could do with a bit more information on this. Also my argument will be that violence in Tarantino's films should not be taken seriously in terms of realism. I have also found that a reason why we might enjoy watching violent films may have something to do with the pornographic element in Tarantino films. It would be great if anyone could help me, i am finding it hard to find good information that is referenced, as i cant use info unless it is referenced. |
