Hi grthumongous... Good question.... I, too, have noticed the absences of many, many regular commenters on here... Where is everyone???? Steph53 |

Maybe they have gone to GAA - GA Anonymous - to swear off this terribly addictive, time-consuming habit. Or maybe they've gone to smaller ponds where they can be Big Frog. |

WOW myoarin-g!!! GAA. I think I need this. Do you have a meeting schedule? Do you think it's best to go cold turkey? |

Now that you've clarified, it makes sense... Lemme see...where am I? In my purple chair, in my office, in my basement, in a blue house on the North End of Toledo (OH), poking around at GA because I have a little time to do so. (IOW, same place I always am!) Still around, just not as active as before because of other commitments, but looking to pick back up again. --Missy |

You weren't supposed to know about the Plum Island "retreat". I'm not sure how you found out, but there WILL be consequences. |

czh-ga, (and any other potential members), being a world-wide international organization (organisation for some) GAA meets continuously - right here. But instead of answering or making a helpful comment, members quickly type: "I could find an answer, but I've taken the GAA-oath." After you have made 15 comments like that (unless GARs have no limit), you can't post any more comments, anyway, but by then you should be so frustrated that you sign off. This exercise can be done quickly, since the contents of the questions are immaterial, i.e., don't even start to look; just prove your selfcontrol on the first new questions of the day. GARs obviously need more training in selfcontrol and can continue by posting requests for clarification with that text. Your GAA-oath responses will earn the respect of weaker users and inspire them to also take the pledge (split infinitive). This could be the downfall of GA, but I doubt it. Probonopublico-ga may be up in Scotland trying to go cold turkey, suffering from terrifying images of his monitor with grey (gray) stripes and undecipherable text. Poor lad! |

Yeah, where *is* Probo? Is someone collecting his milk and mail? Is Daisy being fed? |
