Question ID: 513039
What are the best methods/resources available (freely) on the internet
for locating a person? (ie; getting a current telephone number or
address)

I don't mean police/court records and I'm not tracking down a criminal.
I'm looking for a long lost friend (his name is "Thomas Grigson").

I wouldn't mind PAYING if I knew I'd get the correct information to
contact him. In fact I'd pay a decent bonus if your answer helps me
locate him!

Actually, ZabaSearch, that is mentioned in the comments (below) is a
pretty new and pretty interesting free resource for searching for
people:

http://www.zabasearch.com

You might want to give it a try, for both Thomas as well as Tom, or
any other names that might be associated with your friend.

Let us know if that works out, or if you need any additional information.

I already tried http://www.zabasearch.com
and the information there is outdated by MANY years (>5).

Any other suggestions?

One approach is to list the names of old friends on a web page of yours -
along with a away to contact you. That way if he ever googles for
himself or any of those friends he may find your page.
