Howdy ericv609-ga,

The 2005 NCAA Final Four teams were Illinois (the Fighting Illini) against
Louisville (Cardinals) and North Carolina (Tar Heels) versus Michigan State
(Spartans) which lead to the NCAA basketball finals.

The finals pitted the Illini with the Tar Heels, with North Carolina winning
75 to 70. Details can be found on the MSN Fox Sports web site.
http://msn.foxsports.com/cbk/story/3466332

"North Carolina edged Illinois 75-70 to win its first national championship
since 1993."

The 2004 World Series was between the American League's Boston Red Sox and
the National League's St. Louis Cardinals. Boston won in a four game sweep,
11-9, 6-2, 4-1 and 3-0, breaking the so-called Babe Ruth curse.

The "Baseball Almanac" web site has a good summary of the series, in case
you need more details, such as player's names, etc.
http://www.baseball-almanac.com/ws/yr2004ws.shtml

"The 2004 Major League post-season witnessed perhaps the greatest comeback
in the history of professional baseball."

If you need any clarification, please feel free to ask.
