Question ID: 513574
I would like a list (two or more) of research papers (the paper's
title, the publishing periodical, vol., number and pages) which define
why a VAWT with fully rotating blades is a poor design/idea.

All help is greatly appreciated.

I have little to no access to periodicals. If the money is enough to
get me a brief summary of the papers' findings (abstracts and/or
conclusions?)I would be most grateful. ...Money is a bit "tight" at the moment.

It would be helpful to have a bit more context here.

For a modestly-priced question, it is not always possible for a
researcher to commit to the effort needed to get enough of a
background on VAWT design to allow for the question to be
well-researched.

If you can briefly describe the major types of VAWT's, tell us what is
meant by "fully rotating", and give us a hint or two as to why you
suspect it's a poor design...that would help an awful lot.

Thanks...we'll try and get these for you, if we can.

I think I found the information....the correct descriptive term is
"variable pitch" NOT "self rotating" blades.

thanks for the help.
