Greetings!
The first step involved in connecting your laptop to your vx3200 is to
purchase the Mobile Office Kit from Verizon. You can purchase it
through Verizon's website for $39.99 + shipping. I found another site
that sells it for cheaper ($20 + shipping) which can be found here:

http://www.mobilecityonline.com/wireless/store/accessorydetail.asp?id=20269

The kit itself comes with a USB cable to connect your laptop to the
phone as well as the software for your PC.

The next step in the process is deciding which plan to get. According
to the Verizon rep. I talked to on the phone, you can get a unlimited
national access plan for $44.99 a month. The best bet pricing wise is
to first figure out how much you plan on using it and then talk to a
Verizon sales representative and see what plan they can offer you.
Depending on your usage, etc they may be able to offer some kind of
unpublished discount. The easiest way to get in touch with Verizon is
to dial *611 on your cellphone.

Once you've got the equipment and the plan, follow the instructions
that come with the mobile office kit to set it up. The instructions
that are included make things pretty easy.

You should expect average connection speeds of 60 - 80 kbps. They
claim the network is capable of up to 144 kbps but throughput speed
varies depending on how close you are to a tower.

Another option which you may not have been aware of exists if you plan
on using it in one of the following markets (and your laptop is
compatible):

Atlanta, GA
Austin, TX
Baltimore, MD
Boston, MA
Chicago, IL
Cincinnati, OH
Dalla/Fort Worth, TX
Dayton, OH
Hartford, CT
Houston, TX
Jacksonville, FL
Kansas City, MO
Las Vegas, NV
Los Angeles, CA
Madison, WI
Miami/Fort Lauderdale, FL
Milwaukee, WI
New Haven, CT
New Orleans, LA
New York, NY/Newark, NJ
Orlando, FL
Philadelphia, PA
Phoenix, AZ
Pittsburgh, PA
Providence, RI
San Diego, CA
St. Petersburg/West Palm Beach, FL
Tampa, FL
Washington, DC

In these markets you can sign up for the Verizon Broadband Access
plan. With this system, instead of connecting through your phone, you
have a card which slides into your laptop which allows you to connect
to the wireless network. This system allows much faster connnection
speeds averaging 400 - 700 kbps with max speeds hitting 2 Mbps.

In order to use this system you would need to purchase both a plan and
a wireless aircard. The plan costs $79.99 a month for unlimited use
and the card ranges from $49 - $99 depending on which one you get.

Without knowing your laptop model number unfortunately I can't tell
you if your laptop would be compatible with the card or not. If you
purchased it recently my guess is going to be that it is.

If you have any questions please request a clarification before rating
and I'll be happy to reply.
