I am just starting to experiment with Perl. I uploaded a "hello
world" script that I found. I got an internal server error. when I
asked hosting company support, they told me I needed to chmod to 755
permissions (which they did for me). and the program worked. So,
moving forward, I downloaded the script back to my machine and
re-uploaded - without change. I made sure the permissions were set to
755 (and uploaded as binary). And I get the error again!

Any insights as to how I can fix this?
