Hello hornsby1980-ga The picture you are looking for is held at the Saint Louis Art Museum. To see an image you should go to their web site http://www.slam.org/select "Provenance Research" on the left bar Then you have to agree to the terms in the page (click the Agree and Continue link at the bottom of the page) In the next page you can search for Vasari and the image of the Judith and Holofernes paintings will be presented to you. You can then click "More Info" and then "View full size" to see the image real big I searched for "Giorgio Vasari Giuditta e Oloferne" and I found http://www.italystl.com/italianclub/rondine/ronmay98.htm which is an article on the online magazine of the Italian Club in Saint Louis. That article pointed me to the museum. If you have any trouble seeing the image or need any further clarification I will be please to help silviares |
