What is this TV show? I saw it in Toronto, Canada about ~8 years ago, on YTV (I think it was YTV, the main TV station for kids/teens.) This show is NOT animted - it is 'real' (all of it). The show is about a bunch of regular teenagers who go into one of their basement, and then get sucked into a computer 'game', where they drive transformer-like vehicles, and can also merge them all together to form a larger unit (just like in transformers.) They constantly battle enemies like giant Godzilla-like villans in the 'arena' (it's like a building with circuits running all throughout it.) Thanks in advance! If you need any more details, then please just ask and I will happily give them to you if I remember them! I have been wondering what this show was called for many, MANY years now. Thanks! |

Could the show be ReBoot? ( ReBoot is animated though) http://tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/ShowMainServlet/showid-2138/ReBoot/#info About ReBoot http://www.rebootmayhem.com/aboutrb.html |

Could it be the (Mighty Morphin) Power Rangers? "Often, before a monster is defeated, a monster will grow into gigantic proportions, forcing the Power Rangers to use gigantic (bio)mechanical machines known as Zords. In many cases, these Zords can be combined to form a more advanced (and humanlike) machine, known as a Megazord." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Power_Rangers http://www.tvtome.com/PowerRangers/ |

Not Power Rangers, and not Reboot (although I used to watch both, though.) |

The show that I speak of is definitely much lesser known, otherwise I would have already figured it out. Shows such as Power Rangers and Reboot are fairly well known so I know them much better and therefore remember them well; also, just like Beast Wars, etc. |

Well, Code Lyoko is kinda like this, but it isn't live action... http://www.tvtome.com/CodeLyoko/guide.html Premiered in Canada on "YTV" on Saturday: September 11, 2004 at 8:30 A.M. It's kinda a 2D cartoon with 3D digitizing affects... Well, that isn't 8 years ago. Other robot things are Voltron, but ... 8 years ago digitizing? 1997... This would probably be ahead of its time... Animorphs is likely (1998) http://www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/EpisodeGuideSummary/showid-3249/Animorphs/ websearch of: ytv 1997 site:www.tvtome.com is inconclusive. This is a free comment. |

I'm not 100% if it is 1997, though. |

It's not precisely digitizing, either. I believe the effects were similar to the ones in Power Rangers during the same period. |
