I am interested in the AARP's position on immigration im general and its connections to groups like LULAC and MALDEF in particular. I know that in 2003 the AARP was "Bronze Partner" of MALDEF ($1,000-9,999) and a "Platinum Partner" of LULAC ($75,000-99,999). Are there other indications of financial support? Are there Board or other organizational cross-connections? What is the AARP's position on paying Social Security benefits to Mexican nationals who are in the USA illegally? What have their leaders on the national or local level said on this subject? |
