Dear researcher. I need the main electricity 220V/240/110, 50 or 60
Hertz, in all the countries of the world (about 240 countries). The
classification should be USA, Europe, or ?other?; to include a remark,
for ?other? or for 'not available? or a recent change.
One source is http://www.tvradioworld.com/directory/Television_Standards/page6.asp
The answer should be an xls table with the ITU (or World Bank)Code,
name of the country (WorldBank), the main electricity (USA, Europe,
Other, Remark).
The sources of the data are important. Success.

5013-ga,

The requirement for the ITU code might be a tough one, since many
sources just use the name of the country, as here:

Does that sort of table meet your needs? Let me know, please.

pafalafa-ga you are very close.
The codes are importnat in order to check, which countries are
missing. In addition, it assists to insert your data smoothly into my
excel file (having different names of Countries such as the Congo's
and Korea's, Serbia...). Pls use ITU, or ISO 3166 codes A-3 (world
bank code) or ISO A-2 or FIPS. Those codes can be found at
http://www.statoids.com/wab.html.
SUCCESS!
