Good day!

I am looking for a book named "Jacob * Joseph" (Bible related). The
one I have is in Russian. However, I have a feeling such a book must
be available in English as well. The book says noting about the
publishing house and doesn't have any dates. The author is "E.
Moderson" (possibly Ernst Modersohn).

My Google searches did not produce any useful results. I am looking
for a store or a web site that sells such a book, in English.

I don't claim to be an "advanced searcher" but I gave this a try. 
There are no listings for your book in the online catalogs of the
Library of Congress, the British Library, or the University of
California library.  A search of the Deutsche Buecherei Leipzig
catalog did not return any results for Modersohn that had a title that
combined Jacob (Jakob) and Joseph (also tried Josef spelling). 
However, he is credited with two separate titles on Jacob and Joseph. 
Could it be possible that the Russian version combined the two books?

really mean it. You are most likely correct: the Russian version
combines the two books together since they are quite related by
subject.

I am slowly going through the used book websites that you have
provided. It almost looks like this author was never actively
translated to any other languages other than German. Very sad
indeed... However, I am not giving up yet.
