Dear Greg JB,

What you should have in advance:
-------------------------------
"To obtain a marriage license and have a legal marriage, divorces must
be final in the state where granted. The date of the final decree and
city and state where granted are required."
"Those couples who reside outside the U.S. will need to provide some
proof of their birthdate, such as a passport or other country-issued
I.D., in order to obain a marriage license. There is no other special
documentation that will need to be provided. Those couples will need
to contact officials in their country of orgin to find out how to
register their marriage at home."

When you get to Las Vegas
-------------------------
Both of you must go first to the county office, to get a marriage lisence:
Clark County Marriage Bureau
200 S. 3rd St., 1st floor
Las Vegas, NV 89155-1601
Phone: (702) 455-4415
Fax: (702) 455-4929

From there, you can go to a chapel of your choice (or opt for civil
ceremony). You don't have to wait, but you could save the marriage
lisence and not get married - for a year - it will still be valid.

Yet more information is available at the city's official website:
Wedding Information

I hope this answered your question and I wish you long and happy
married life. Please contact me if you need any clarification on this
answer before you rate it. My search strategy was to search first for
the city's official site, as I assumed (correctly) that they'll have
initial information and links to further information (which they had).

PS - send us pictures, will you :-)

A great site to find the best wedding planners is:

http://www.freedsbride.com

There are so many other sites that advertise vendors and when you get
to vegas you find out that the most gorgeous setting that you saw in
the photo was only a wall mural. make sure to investigate before you
set anything in stone. The site listed above has some of the best
wedding vendors and venues in Las Vegas, they are truly the cream of
the crop. Congrats and good luck!
