How do I find out what constitutes a "good" price for a Roland Digital
Piano KR-17M?  Our local store offered $20,780.00, I'd like to know if
we should be able to get a better price somewhere else, or what is
cost so we can negotiate?

Unfortunately, it appears Roland has a policy that they will not allow
quotes or pricing over the telephone or Internet.  I find this a
non-friendly way for a company to do business, but two dealers I
contacted in different areas (Illinois and Tennessee) refused to give
the prices saying I had to visit the showroom.

That price of $20,780 seems pretty competitive to me.  I was quoted
$24,490 plus 5% sales tax (I live in MD) and delivery of $155 for a
total of $25,869.  What state do you live in as I'd be interested in
ordering from where ever it is that gave you that quote.  If you can
provide me with the contact info for the store I would greatly
appreciate it as I'm ready to make a purchase immediately.
