Question ID: 51589
How do I go about finding a job (advertising, PR) in Spain? I am a
recent graduate of TCU in Fort Worth, TX. I have computer skills,
speak fluent Spanish and have been unable to find a matching job.
Surely an international company needs me.

I have a degree in Marketing, a degree in eCommerce(please don't hold
that against me) and speak fluent Spanish.

Hello, gottafindit:

I'm sure a company here in Spain needs you, I don't know how you have
tried to find a job in Spain, but I'm going to give you some advices.
The best way would be to come to live here and start searching a job
in the "traditional" way. That is, looking for positions in newspapers
and go with many copies of your CV as you can. But I think this is not
the "wise" way because it will be too much expensive for you. You say
you speak spanish, so all my links will be to spanish web pages.

I recommend you to submit your CV to this website, be sure you submit
your CV in spanish.
Buscar Trabajo, Monster.es
http://buscartrabajo.monster.es/

This is a search on this website looking for advertisment positions.
Monster.es (Advertising)
http://buscartrabajo.monster.es/jobsearch.asp?brd=1&brd=1&cy=es&lid=&q=publicidad

And I think this is the best offer, it requires a native english
person in the advertising market.
ES-Madrid-ASISTENTE DE DIRECCION- NATIVA INGLES

I recommend you to look for jobs in Madrid or Barcelona, you can get
higher salaries in those cities.
