Looking for a pop song, medium tempo, sounds like a solo, fairly lyrical with following chorus "blow it all sky high" .... "don't tell no lie" [or similar]. Who could it be? |

Hi chriso_312, The song is "Sky High," a hit by Jigsaw in 1975. I haven't found definitive lyrics -- here is one (of many) unofficial transcriptions: "SKY HIGH" International Lyrics Playround http://lyricsplayground.com/alpha/songs/s/skyhigh.shtml You can hear a clip of the song here: "The Very Best of Jigsaw" [scroll down to "Listen to Samples"] Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000007TJZ/ref=m_art_li_1/002-8638595-5034452?v=glance&s=music If this is not the version you're thinking of, there's another possibility. DJ Miko covered the song -- it appears on various albums, including this one: "Trance Heaven, Vol. 2" [scroll down to "Track List"] Barnes & Noble.com http://music.barnesandnoble.com/search/product.asp?userid=2y0VLUNB11&EAN=48984802326&ITM=1 Perhaps other artists have covered it as well. If you're seeking a different artist's version, please let me know so that I may do follow-up research. - justaskscott Search strategy -- Searched for various combinations of the following terms on Google: "blow it all sky high" lie "blown it all sky high" jigsaw "dj miko" Searched on Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble.com for: jigsaw "dj miko" |

It might also be "Flick of the Switch" by AC/DC...a lot of their songs sound like solos. |
