Are there any music schools out there where you can get a degree
mostly online like a bachelors degree or masters degree in performance

Dear Musique,

Here are few distance learning programmes in music:

Judson College - Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Music
<http://home.judson.edu/academic/external/external.html>

Charter Oak State College - Degree in music
<http://www.cosc.edu/>

Queen's University (Canada)
<http://www.queensu.ca/cds/>

Open University (UK)  -
<http://www3.open.ac.uk/courses/bin/p12.dll?Q01F32_1_0>

Berklee - not degrees, but certificate programmes
<http://www.berkleemusic.com/>

Please note that the Eastern College of Music (offered by the
commentator) might be a good choice, if you bear in mind that they
haven't got any accreditation in the United States.

I hope this answers your question. Please contact me if you need any
clarification on this answer before you rate it.

you might want to check out Eastern College of Music. The website is
located at http://EasternCollege.us. They offer different degrees in
music online. I"m not sure if they are a complete online music school
with no residency but they look pretty reliable.
