There are virtually no agents who handle this kind of work, unless
you're already well known in the field. If you do find an agent who
claims to handle this sort of work for newcomers, be wary. Some are
con artists. (You should never have to pay for anything upfront, by
the way; the agent handles all costs until the show is actually sold.)
Others are so new to handling stage works that they won't have much
better luck selling your work than you would.
Truly, the best thing to do is market your own work until you become
more established. Two books will help you with this. "The Dramatists
Sourcebook" which is updated periodically and lists theatres around
the country, what sort of new works they are interested in, and how to
contact them, and "The Stage Writer's Handbook" which offers excellent
legal information for stage writers.
