I want to know everything (biography) about John Date.I know that this person 
was the  manufacturer/distributor  and repair of hard hat
diver,equipment. Since 1853 to this day. His son-in-law was Kenneth
E.Garlick  around 1963.

the name John Date  is the good one .We have at home one of the hard
hat he,manufacture,with  the name John Date engrave on it.His
manufacture  was locate  at Montreal,Quebec,Qc. no.385 Concord
Street.Kenneth E Garlick (is son
in law ) was the  manager in 1963,we spoke with him,but  we lost contact since 
   Sorry I speak  usualy in french, and this is the first time I use

Could the person in question be "John Deane" (not "John Date")?
