I would like information on Hindemith's "Acht Stucke", like what influenced it, it's style and form etc, and it's link to other solo flute music of the 20th century particularly french solo flute music. Any information would be really useful as I can't find anything on it. Thank you for your help. |

Hi, maybe this could be of help. http://ethesis.helsinki.fi/julkaisut/hum/taite/vk/tiits/onquanti.pdf On page 139 it discusses Hindemith's "Acht Stuecke fuer Floete Allein" for several pages. The HTML version of the site does not seem to include the last half of the pdf version. |
