I want an Auto-Conferencing Telephone able to perform
Auto-Conference...(i.e, When I am Calling from outside home through
line1, it Auto Answer and conference me with line2 Automatically...

i.e; Auto-Conferencing between line1 and line2 where as soon
as I call on line1 it auto-answers and conference me with line2...

It is similar as the Auto-Dialing feauture, where you dial line1 then
it Conference you with Line2 where you would be able to dial
automatically through Line2

Hello -

Do you know if something like this actually exists? I'm told from a
leading provider of conference phones that this is more a function of
your phone service than the phone itself.

Yeah, This is an example of this feauture exists but not actually the
same...(Sipura-2003...Where u call the PSTN line It Hooks up over a
the VOIP line and u hear the Voip dial tone and begin to dial your
number,
But the difference in my Auto-Conference phone feature that I need,
iis that I am a Voip service providor who offers Voip call to
customers over PSTN at their location...

So, I need a phone that when the customer dial my PSTN line (L1), it
Auto connect him with the Voip line - (which is L2 in the phone
equipment connected with Voip gateway) - and make a condference
between the two lines where he should hear the Voip Dial tone and
would be able to dial his number himself,

I:E;
I have two lines, (L1 and L2),
L1 is anormal PSTN line and L2 is a Voip line,
So, If I want to make a Voip call, I have to call the PSTN line (L1)
and then, it auto Conferece me with the Voip Line (L2) where I here
the Voip Dial tone and begin making calls

Hope that I have simplified for you exactly the feature I need and you
have got what mean.

Obviously, this is not a service feature at all, It is just a Product
Feature in a 2 lines Phone equipment (like GENERAL phone) but it
Auto-Conference line 1 with Line 2 without pressing the conferencing
buttom with connect the two line with each other in the GENERAL phone
kind...

Thank you for the clarification. You seem to be looking for a highly
specialized product. I don't know if anyone makes it at the present
time, but the question remains open for all researchers to
investigate.

In fact, I am not looking for a so highly specialized product as you
concieve, But, may it would be very simple for you to get my mean, if
I told you that I want a phone that just Auto answer the call - (like
the Answer Machine) - but without playing voice masseges...???
i:e; when I am calling, it just open the line for me...!!!

Isn't opening the line the same end product as "auto-conferencing"?
You're looking for a separate dial-tone on a separate line, no?

No, just open the line and Auto answer the call for a single line - (like
the Answer Machine, but without playing voice massege...)

Dear nournet,

I have found a number of telephones that provide the functionality
you describe.

Rath Microtech makes the Smartphone IV, several varieties of which have
the Auto Answer feature.

Auto Answer: When an incoming call is received, the Smartphone
IV will answer the call and two-way conversation is established
    with the calling party.

Models in the 2100 Series and 2400 Series are equipped with this feature.

2400 Series-Security Speakerphones and Line Powered Unit

Another possibility is the Samsung Prostar Phone System, which offers
an Auto Answer ring mode.

The Samsung DCS Compact line also has Auto Answer.

Furthermore, a number of Panasonic phones have auto-answer
functionality. For example, the KXT 7050 is a telephone with an
auto-answer setting that comes at a very attractive price because it
has no speakerphone.

KXT 7050 Panasonic Phone: This is a Panasonic 12 CO line basic
system telephone. (Used with Panasonic KX-T30810, KX-T61610,
    KX-T123211D, KX-TA624 & KX-TA1232 Hybrid System Control
Units.) The features of this phone include a monitor, auto answer,
on-hook dialing, FWD/DND, 4 One Touch Dial Keys, 12 Programmable
    Line Buttons, automatic redial, mute/hold/flash/redial,
conference, transfer, and a message Waiting Key/Lamp.

I think your answer may lie, albiet not inexpensively, in Asterisk.
www.asterisk.org

this open source pbx system allows you to completely script all caller
interactions.

so, you could script it to barge in on line 1 when your caller id is
recognized from line 2.

essentially, the limits are endless.
