I don't know about Oprah Winfrie, but an amazing place to get a
mattress is Custom Comfort mattresses in Orange County, Calif. Their

their showroom, I was immediately impressed with how knowledgeable,
informative, and helpful everyone was. They showed me cross-section
chunks of actual mattresses of big names we hear like Sealy, Serta,
etc, and how they were made from cheap, unreliable materials.
Everyone gets all excited about "pillow top" mattresses... it's just a
couple of layers of egg-crate foam thrown in there, $25 each at Kmart,
and yet we pay hundreds extra for it. After just 1.5 years on our
Beautyrest, we had backaches and now we've had our mattress from
Custom Comfort (which has a lifetime warranty) for 5 years without
problems of any sort.
