G'day Pugkoala,

"Animal" can mean any living creature, and there are lots of them out
there eating each other - I mean - the small ones are eating smaller
ones and being eaten by bigger ones, and leaving no traces. Fish
eating fish, and crocodiles eating fish - when there isn't a tourist
around ...
And the CSIRO doesn't have anyone out there counting.
