Hi, Schools on U.S. military bases are operated by the Department of Defense Education Activity, a civilian unit. About 8,800 teachers are employed to teach 106,000 students in 14 foreign countries. Here is the agency's home page: DoDEA http://www.odedodea.edu/ You can find information about working for the agency on this page: Employment Opportunities http://www.odedodea.edu/pers/employment/ A list of DoDEA schools in Europe can be found on this page: DoDDS Europe http://www.odedodea.edu/data/areasites.cfm?dodaac=HE1280 These pages and the links on them should supply you with the information you need. Best wishes in your pursuit of what surely would be an interesting teaching position! mvguy Google search term used: teaching u.s. military ://www.google.com/search?q=teaching+u.s.+military |
