Hi all GAR's,

I am trying to find the correct spelling and a picture of a character
on a childrens television show from the Netherlands. Any other
information you can provide would be useful as well. A couple years
ago I visited some friends there and fr iends of friends nicknamed me
"schnikie" (this is very likely not the correct spelling but is
phonetically accurate). This, they said, was the name of a character
on a childrens show who was mischevious, fun and light-hearted who I
resembled. I don't know what the name of the show was, or if it is
still being aired (these friends were in their late 30s or so, and it
may have been from their childhood years). Also, I don't know if it
was a muppet/puppet type deal or an animated cartoon or even what the
concept of the show was, like if it was centred around this character
or a skit show like sesame street.
