I am receiving my emails in duplicate.
I use Windows 2000, cablevision (optonline)
How can I eliminate the duplicate emails?

You need to go to Tools Options, Advanced, (going from memory here)
Then there is a check box, that says, leave mail on server,  That
needs to be unchecked, otherwise you will pull down all old mail.

Sorry Its a bit vague, but I am certain you can fix this easily.

There is no option to 'leave mail on server'.  Could it be another choice?

Go to Accounts, highlight the account, click on Properties and go
through the options to aDvanced to uncheck "leave a copy of mail on
server."
