I work for a very small non-profit organization. We bought FileMaker 7
and the Donation 2 program to keep track of our donors and
fundraising. We found it harder than anticipated to get things up and
running as we want. We are trying to find someone who would come and
work with us and show us the best way to do things. We were hoping
that we would not have to learn FileMaker in all its depth but just
how to use the donations program itself. I checked on the FileMaker
website and contacted some of the people and companies who offer
training but there are no classes within a reasonable distance and the
cost of someone coming to us is a bit beyond our budget. We are not
trying to deprive authorized consultants and trainers of their
livelihood just keep our costs down!
Could you offer any suggestions as to where we might find a person who
could help us?
I did ask the moderator of some of the FileMaker Forums if it was OK
to post a message about looking for help but have received no response
so still don't know if that would be a suitable place.
