I need to know the name of a song that contains the lyrics, "You're my special lady, sweeter than ......". It sounds like it was made in the 70's, maybe very early 80s. The part where they sing "Lady" sounds like "laaadehhh". It contains the usualy markings of a 70's soul song: string instruments, smooth beat. It also seems to be sung by a group of guys. I heard it on an American Radio station that is known for playing classic soul music. It is NOT "Special Lady" by Ray, Goodman, & Brown! | |

I know the song you mean, or at least I think I do but unfortunately I can't remember who sang it right now. If it's the one I'm thinking of it isn't the one mentioned above, right? |

It's DEFINITELY not Styx! It's has a "Motown" feel to it. |
