I was trying to check my societies web site on goggle and all I found
was a mention by a site Italian Festivals, that spoke of our 2000
feast. This site not only has old information but they didn't accept
emails for corrections. Why has all other search engines picked up
www.stanthonysfeast.com and it can't be found on goggle. The Saint
Anthony's Feast is the largest Italian Featival in New England, has
been named "The Feast of all Feast" by National Geographics and was
invited to the Smithothian Institute.

I am presuming that you have submitted the site to Google:

If the site was only created on 5/31/02 as it says on the home page,
and presumably submitted to Google later than that date, then waiting
a little longer until the next update might be the key - a list of
when the Google index was last updated is at:

I put a site up in end May for an organization that I a member of. All
seach engines have it but I can't find it on Google. I know it was
submitted!
I believe as many do that Goggle was the best to find things. The site
is stanthonysfeast.com and is much more extensive than the competing
organization's sites. Thanks inadvance Jimmy

Do you recall, when submitting to Google, if you used the link
mentioned above:

Or if you used the link at the bottom of the Google Directory page:
http://directory.google.com/Top/Society/Religion_and_Spirituality/Christianity/Denominations/Catholicism/Parishes/North_America/United_States/Massachusetts

Hi jimmyr,

Good day and thank you for your question.

Your website is now listed in google. If you go to
://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=st+anthony%27s+feast,
the second result points to your site.

Thank you for using this service, and have a good day.

Cheers,

Hey Jimmy R.

Great reminder...but that day by day page sure loads in a funny
way...We'll be down there...pizza at Regina's.....sausage on the
street.....a cannoli at Mike's...the coins in the water jug game...and
pin some money on the statue....and ready to make some cuccia for St.
Lucy's day in December with chocolate from Pocari's. I do not know
anything about google's search and list policy...but perhaps another
researcher can help with that..
