Products Liability/Completed Operations coverage is typically included
with your general liability rate. Pharmaceuticals, nutritional
supplements, and other medical related items often have
products/completed ops. excluded from the GL policy. Very few
companies will do this though. I write quite a few nutritional
supplement makers, and I write almost all of them with Mid-Continent.
Your question really needs refining in two specific ways. First, why
do you want a list of the top ten? Are you wanting the top ten based
upon total premium dollars written? This will change completely based
upon the second clarification. What exactly is it that you're
considering selling? Drugs that do different things will be written
with different companies. My advice would be that you contact an
independent commercial agent in your local area. You can talk with
that agent very specifically without concern for them running off with
your idea.
