How can I a map with direction thatget me to L.I.Expressway without
going thru the tunnels ,just Verazanno Bridge from Outer Crossing
towards 495E to exit 36? The maps I keep getting are the same -
showing how to return - I want to go to L.I.,N.Y. - Can you help me?

One caveat: You can't avoid Brooklyn if you want to go via the
Verrazano-Narrows Bridge.  This bridge goes from Staten Island to
Brooklyn.  But you would then stay on I-278 the entire time you're in
Brooklyn, which I assume is what you want.
