I am in search of Record company aquisitions who are people behind the
imprint deals and distrubtion deals.I want to know what's goin' down
before any units get shipped !!
I also want to know who and what companies are buying lists for film
and video features ( not music video's ).What companies are looking
for incidental music for thier features.
"new on the chart's" is monthly as is the "hollywood reporter" do you
know of any other websites or newsletter's,blogs e.t.c that are more
" up to the minute" than the afformentioned sources ?

Thank's J :-)just to start !

Hi Songwriter -

You've got a few questions bundled up here, and I'm not completely
clear on them. Can you clarify the first?

J,What's happnin' !

Here's the breakdown...
#1.NOTC.com, I believe is a monthly industry pub.
( it tells you who is signing with who/ indie to major deals )
not the artist the "labels".
Because it is distributed every 30, I am curious to know is there
another source of this information that is more up to the minute.
Like a website,newsgroup,newsletter,blog, e.t.c

#2.Apply this same info to the film and video(feature)industry.
( there are companies that purchase aqusitions lists for for 10k and
up because of the up to the minute information that they need to make
fast moves on opprotunities.

#3.When you post this information don't share it like the last publicist post
the potential to make money on that and my current questions for you
are endless. You should tell google to take down that post. And make
this (I know you'll find) a one time download! So you can consistently
make money off of it.
