It is often said that the youth of today are disrespectful and undisciplined, unlike the older generation had been. I am sure every generation has that view of the youth of their day. I would like to find a quote or quotes from prior generations indicating that view of their youth. I had heard that Plato had made such a statement. |

I am glad the information I provided was useful to you! Thank you for accepting it as your answer. It is interesting to note how similar the complaints about young people have been, down through the ages. I was born in the late 1940s. My parents and their generation were horrified by rock 'n' roll and trends such as long hair on men. In turn, I (and many of my peers) have had a hard time accepting things like rap music and body piercings. Goodness only knows what the new kids will be upset about when they have children of their own. Best regards, pinkfreu |
