I'm glad to have been able to help you identify your movie as "Murder in Greenwich." I was fairly certain that this was the correct movie, but I wanted to verify it with you before posting my official answer. Internet Movie Database: Murder in Greenwich http://imdb.com/title/tt0339422/ Here are some used VHS and DVD copies of "Murder in Greenwich": Amazon: Murder in Greenwich VHS http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/offer-listing/B00008V2X3/ref=dp_pb_a//104-4419635-9975153?condition=all Amazon: Murder in Greenwich DVD http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/offer-listing/B00008UALH/ref=dp_pb_a//104-4419635-9975153?condition=all If this movie piqued your interest, you might also want to keep an eye out for another made-for-TV film which was based on the same true story. "A Season in Purgatory" is more fictionalized than is "Murder in Greenwich," but both are retellings of the Martha Moxley murder and the reaction of a wealthy community to a horrible crime which may have been committed by one of the community's own young men. This movie is not currently available on video, but it shows up on television from time to time. Not long ago I saw it listed on one of the Starz cable movie channels. Internet Movie Database: A Season in Purgatory http://imdb.com/title/tt0115348/ Both "Murder in Greenwich" and "A Season in Purgatory" are based upon books: Amazon: Murder in Greenwich http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/006109692X Amazon: A Season in Purgatory http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0345430557 Best regards, pinkfreud |

I must apologize to pinkfreud-ga for calling her "pinkfred" in my clarification request. Must be a "Fredian" slip. |

As per clarification, you've answered my question. I can't see how to rate answers, there's no button there but I would rate this service as 5/5. |

I am a bit puzzled that you were not fully satisfied by my answer. What did you need that I didn't provide? |
