Saw joe perry with group on conan obrien 5 May. new group? recordings?

Hello oohga-ga,

Joe Perry released a solo CD on May 3rd.  Apparently the group he was
performing with on Conan O?Brien was temporarily put together for that
and several other performances.  This doesn?t appear to be permanent
thing for him.  Aerosmith is said to be planning a live album and tour
later this year.

?Perry's self-titled solo CD - his first non-Aerosmith album in more
than 20 years - arrives in stores today. Last night he played at
Harpers Ferry backed by drummer Paul Caruso, Black Crowes' guitarist
Audley Freed and former Keith Richards' bassist Charley Drayton.
 
Last Friday, Perry was busy rehearsing this temporary band for a
handful of performances, including an appearance Thursday on ``Late
Night with Conan O'Brien.'' He took a break to talk about his solo
flight, as well as Aerosmith's future.?
