Hello happyfaceairline-ga,

The ISBN numbers you listed belong to a series of books, tests, and
teachers guides for teaching English and Spanish at an elementary
level. They are published by a well-known company, SCOTT FORESMAN
ADDISON WESLEY, and can be ordered directly from the publisher at
their website:

http://www.scottforesmancatalog.com/co_home.cfm?site_id=18&n=1

Searching on the ISBN numbers you listed shows the following:

Quizzes on Blackline Masters
ISBN: 0673216020
Price: $43.97

Tests on Blackline Masters
ISBN: 0673216055
Price: $93.47

I trust this information fully answers your question. However, please
don't rate this answer until you have everything you need. If you
would like any additional information, just post a Request for
Clarification to let me know how I can assist you further, and I'm at
your service.

All the best,

pafalafa-ga

search strategy: Searched various databases for book listings, and
found the ISBN numbers in the WorldCat database, which identified the
publisher; then searched the publisher's website.

Is there any other place where you can purchase it?

happyfaceairline-ga,

I did not find any other place that has these books for sale.

However, there are copies in several libraries in the U.S. It may be
possible to borrow the books through interlibrary loan. A good
librarian should be able to find these in the WorldCat database (a
database of library holdings) and (hopefully) arrange a loan for you.

Let me know how that works out.

The information I was looking for was where to buy the books. I have
been to this website before, but I was not able to purchase it. I am
looking for a site where I can purchase the books or get a hold of it.
Thanks!

Hello again,

Let's keep working on this together, to see if we can find a solution
and get you your books.

I haven't found other sites yet that have the books for sale, but I'll
keep looking, and let you know what I find.

In the mean time, there are two things that I'd like you to consider:

1. The Scott Foresman site that I gave you above only sells these
particular books to school accounts OR by purchase order. Have you
considered buying it by purchase order? It would involve registering
at the site, supplying them with a business name (which you can create
on the spot -- there's nothing improper about starting your own
business and giving yourself a name), and then following their
procedures to actually purchase the book. Will it work? There's no
way to know, until you give it a try.

2. If you are near a college, the college bookstore should be able to
order it for you. Why not call them up, and ask them for assistance.
Or, you can try an online textbook seller like these folks:

http://www.ecampus.com/bk_detail.asp?ISBN=

Click on the "click here" text and provide them with the full
information of what you need (along with the fact that only Scott
Foresman seems to have it) and see if they can order it for you.

Let me know how these options work out for you, and if they don't,
we'll see if we can come up with Plan B (or is it Plan C at this
point...?).

I did email them but they told me they could not order for me. I
really need these books as my deadline is coming up. Can anyone help?

Hello again,

You never mentioned where you are in the world. As I mentioned
earlier, there are copies of these books in US libraries. If you're
in the states, this might be your best option for getting the copies
in hand. Have you given this option a try? If so, let me know what
the outcome was.

Other than that, I can only think of signing up at the Scott Foresman
site so you can be recognized as a legitimate purchase order customer
-- I can't guarantee that this would work, but there's no harm in
trying, eh?

I am in california. I tried to sign up there but they sent me an email
saying i need to show a teaching certificate. Also i searched my local
libraries, and they do not carry it. Any help? =(

Let's give the libraries another try.

Very few libraries actually have this book in their collections, so
you're not likely to find it on a local library shelf.

Instead, you'll need to request the librarian to get you copies
through interlibrary loan.

According to the WorldCat database (which most libraries use to check
holdings of other libraries), the best library for what you need is
Bowling Green State University (BGSU) Library in Ohio, as they have
circulating copies of both the books in their Curriculum Resource
Center:

Scott, Foresman Spanish program : Quizzes on blackline masters
ISBN 0673216020

Scott, Foresman Spanish program : Achievement and proficiency tests on
blackline masters
ISBN 0673216055

You can see the BGSU listings by going to their library search page:

http://maurice.bgsu.edu/search/

and conducting a 'Title' search for [ Scott, Foresman Spanish program ]

Interlibrary loan is probably your best bet at this point for securing the books.

Best of luck,

paf

Apparently, these books can "can only be purchased with PO or school
credit card" (as they are "items marked with ?").
