Hello,
I need information on video surveillance systems used to monitor
employees.  This is a human resources issue, so any info on privacy
issues, laws, employee rights, and employer rights would be helpful. 
So would information on the technical aspects- the costs of
installation, the maintenance, and technical components to a video
monitoring system.  More specific information on the number of firms
who have implemented a video surveillance system and their
experiences/results would be great too.

They are bound to ask you to specify what jurisdiction you are in/referencing.
For example, the law/rule/regulation in Fascist states such as Red
China would vary from those in Free states.
