appearing in a lead role, not a movie star?
So, all of the lead characters in all porn
movies would be the movie stars, right?

Or, is it possible that you are asking about
famous men and women that have had top billing
at some time in a non-pornographic film, but
yet have also appeared in a lead or less role
in a porno?

You probably want answers that would not

Could you please define a "film star" to me? I can tell you about
"mainstream" actors that have participated in porn films, but who is
counted as star and who isn't? Do you have a list of names of people

Most of the juicy stories we hear about celebrities' supposed
performances in XXX films have no basis in fact. My cousin, who has
worked as an art director in Hollywood for years, told me that one way
that an actor or actress knows that his or her career is on the rise
is that rumors about pornographic films or photos become widespread.

appeared in mainstream movies but have also been in porno films

The initial phrasing of the question makes this essentially impossible
to answer. I doubt that anyone can give you the names of ALL
legitimate film performers who have made pornographic films. To even
attempt an exhaustive list would take a great deal more time than most
researchers are willing to invest on a $2.50 question.

If you would consider a list of SOME of the movie actors/actresses who
have appeared in porn, perhaps you should specify exactly how long the
list must be (keeping in mind the price you've set on this, I would
suggest asking for a fairly short list, perhaps the names of ten or
twelve actors.)
