Hello bigsec1-ga, There's 2 answers to this question actually... The first answer being the Sumerians, over 5000 years ago in Mesopotamia. "Gilgamesh reported his recurring dreams to his goddess-mother Ninsun, who made the first recorded dream interpretation." The second answer is Sigmund Freud in 1889..."Sigmund Freud gave new life to the lost art of studying dreams in his major work, Die Traumdeutung (The Interpretation of Dreams), written in 1899" http://www.ondreaming.com/theories/ ://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&lr=&safe=off&c2coff=1&q=dream+interpretation+first+instance&btnG=Search I hope this helps.
