The management of the Recover Fast Hospital (RFH) claims that the
average length of stay is less than the average length of stay at
General Hospital (GH. The following data is available to test their
claim. Assume the two populations are normally distributed and have
equal varience.
                         RFH                GH
Sample size               16                 26
Mean (in days)            4                  5
Std. Deviation            .5                 .75

Test to see if the length of stay in RFH is significantly less than
the average length of the stay in GH.  The confidence level should be
95%.

No they are not - they are study questions in preparation for a test. 
As you can see by my previous posts - I'm attempting to work out the
answers at the same time.  I was using the responses as validation of
my work and as question by question tutoring...
