Where can I buy a decal for a wheelchair lift / ramp van to alert other
drivers not to park right next to the van? This is needed because the
handicapped person needs plenty of space to have the ramp come down to
enter the van and a "van accessible" parking space is not always
available.

Please find at least two merchants who provide decals to place on the
van window that say something like "Ramp equipped van - do not park
within 8 feet" or similar message. Ideally I'd like to find merchants
who have these available, not requiring a custom made decal.

I found these stickers on two UK sites...

"ATTENTION: DISABLED
WHEELCHAIR LIFT FITTED TO THIS VEHICLE
PLEASE LEAVE AT LEAST 8ft ACCESS - THANK YOU"

http://www.activemobility.co.uk/shop/images/Image18.jpg

"PLEASE LEAVE AT LEAST 2 METRES (7 FEET)
WHEELCHAIR HOIST/LIFT IN USE"

http://website.lineone.net/~blue.badge/page11.html

Is one of these suitable?

regards,
Jackburton

Thank you for what you have found. I would prefer to find a supplier
in the US. We would need to purchase this in the US and would also
prefer that the sign use American English (feet not meters). Please
let me know if you can find any US suppliers. Thank you
