I don't know, but I sure hope the desks will become more comfortable
than they are in 2005.  :)

Seriously, I don't think it will be vastly different than the present.
 There will be greater availability of technology--capability to
display images from a computer, maybe a touch-sensitive computer
screen for the professor to write on, maybe every student taking notes
on a computer.  Many technologies exist now; it's not clear which will
catch on.  However, the basic format of a college lecture has been
fairly constant over a long time, and most of the current classrooms
will still be in use, so it won't change all that much.

If you look at the changes in classrooms over the past 20 years, the
only noticable difference is that blackboards have been replaced by
whiteboards, and some classrooms have computer projectors instead of
overhead projectors.

I would suspect that there may be more overhead projectors, and better
network access from the classroom.  Also: better presentation tools
will be used in the future -- professors will be able to create
animations to better describe things.

Something to consider as well: There may be fewer physical college
classrooms, as there may be more online learning occurring.
