I have an odor of a upholstery cleaner that won't leave my nose. It is
making me ill..everything I smell smells of this product..any
sugestions? HELP

I am not a medical or scent expert (see "Important Disclaimer" at
bottom of this page).  However, your situation reminds me of a section
of "The Emperor of Scent," concerning someone for whom "virtually all

You didn't say whether the odor is that of a product which
you've used recently. If not, you may be having olfactory
hallucinations, and should consult a psychiatrist. There
may be medications which can be of help.

If it is the scent of a recently-used product, airing out
the place where it was used, and rinsing your nostrils with
a mild solution of saltwater should help.
