Hi there!  I'm after the best, fastest and cheapest way to import
2000kg of stuff from cyprus - it's about 4 pallet loads of gear!  It
needs to be delivered to Esher in Surrey, UK

Fastest and cheapest together are impossible.  What is your priority? 
Probably cheapest fastest, which would be airfreight.  But if fastest
cheapest is the priority, either way, you need a freight forwarder. 
They do just that, handle freight shipments, if needed from door to
door, working with a local outfit in Cyprus, and handling the
documentation and customs matters.
