I'm looking for long-term data on various aspects of video/electronic gaming. These aspects could be:
how much time people spend playing (per day, per week, etc)
how much money they've spent on games/hardware (or money as a percentage of total income)
historical revenues for the video game industry
number of video games sold
average age of video game players
others

Definitely looking for historical and long-term: the same data point beginning in the 70s or the 80s and continuing thru the 90s and today. One source per data point is fine but definitely needs to be sourced. | |
