Hi fredlim,

Usually what you do should work to clear the IE history, which is
something else then the history of addresses you typed in to your
address bar.

On windows 98 machines the history is stored in a special (hidden)
folder named "history". You'll find this at: "c:\windows\history". You
should be able to delete all history from there.

If you want to get rid of all visited adresses in the address bar,
right click on you windows taskbar, select "Properties", click the
"Advanced" tab, and then click the "Clear" button.

I hope this helps you out.

Boot into DOS and browse to the Folder in the windows directory on the
c drive then do a Del *.*, this will also kill the *.Dat file that wil
delete the *.DAT file if you try this from windows.
